The avatar changes on the board for the past week have gotten out of hand in the best way possible.

I've been absolutely loving the energy this team has been coming out with.

The whole: 'playing for your job' seems to have worked for the bottom six.

However you feel about Fitz: Kovacevic, Markstrom, Dillon, Cotter (14g) and Noesen (19g) have already made their money.

I'm really liking Dogson Mercer at C too. He clearly thinks of it as his best position and it gives him the most skating - he has been more energized the past couple of games than the whole season.

Just good stuff.

His game has always been good when he didn't think he was a better player than his skills portrayed. Maybe the defensive aspect of the center responsibility is making him simplify his game more than when he's on wing and has to think about creating offense from that spot or being a clinical finisher. He had that one horrendous f*** up on the powerplay but he's been good imo the past few games like you said. The Dallas game was a really great stepping stone for him

I screamed at the game when he made that careless play lmao but yeah. A strong last 3-4 games for him. Maybe he is finally figuring out his role and what he needs to do at a minimum. I still think theres untapped offense left. He thinks too much in scoring areas.

I honestly think we gave up on him as a center too early. This is a really tough league for U23 centers,. it's a position that requires more physical maturity and experience.

Calgary made that mistake with Bennett, when they saw 20 year old Bennett couldn't carry the corpses of Brouwer and Versteeg they condemned him to wing for the rest of his flames career.

Keep fighting my friend. Hope you improve soon. Go Devils!!
Thank you for your well wishes. I hope to have a "watchman" installed to my heart hopefully that will stop the heavy bleeding due to blood thinners fighting the irregular heart beat, A-Fib. Just a minor problem of the many as a result of aging. Thank you very much
