I don't think they've been playing all that well defensively, but wins are wins.

I do think this is the first win we've had against a team that was currently in a playoff spot since Tampa back on January 12th.

Boston may have still been in a playoff spot on a technicality, I remember a couple of teams behind them had games in hand and higher points percentages, but were behind them in points and in the standings because of their games played. But even that was the last week of January.

This is why I was rolling my eyes when people acted a few days ago like the Dougie and Jack injuries bumped us down to 1970’s expansion level, we aren’t that bad even now - very top heavy offensively and reliant on our D and goalies otherwise but they still have enough talent to make the playoffs if the talent gets their heads out of their ass and bring it more like tonight

Helps that Glass is looking like a shrewd pick up too

Luke is still being beat wide way too often for someone who skates as well as he does. I suspect he is playing hurt which just makes him one of the best skaters on the team instead of one of the best in the league.
