Always nice to beat a rivalry. Let's go Flames. Missed the last 3 due to travelling to Pittsburgh to see Iron Maiden. Came home Saturday and drove right by Keybank Arena in Buffalo, missed the puck drop by 30 minutes. Had a great time in Pittsburgh and the drive home was 4 hours, so just came home instead and caught the end of the game.
Last night I was in Toronto to see Wasp and Armored Saint. Wish Wolf would have gotten the shutout. Anyways, go Flames.

Yeah, why the hell not? Since September I've seen Alice Cooper, Rival Sons with Clutch and Fu Manchu, Judas Priest with Sabaton, Megadeth with Mudvayne and All That Remains, Testament with Kreator and Possessed, Iron Maiden in Toronto, Iron Maiden and The Hu in Pittsburgh and Wasp and Armored Saint. Old school metal head. Amazing shows. Gets me out of my terrible year of loss and grief. I'm still suffering, but some days I can distract myself with some great friends and great shows. I have nothing else for the rest of the year.

Hey @Boomstick of the bands you saw this year which show did you like best? I'd like to see Alice Cooper live for one, have watched quite a few of his shows on YouTube, they're amazing.
Well, hard to choose, but Iron Maiden is my favorite band, so I'd pick them. Judas Priest is my 2nd favorite band, so they'd be 2nd. Every show was great in their own way, but Maiden just kicked my ass both times. I was general admission floor for both shows, it's nuts down there but in a fun way. Nothing aggressive or pushy, just a lot of people enjoying the music they love. It's an amazing experience. I'll send you a couple of videos I took.

The Pittsburgh trip was cool. It was at PPG arena where the Pens play. I've never been there before. Interesting seeing all the Penguins murals etc. I made a mistake, I told myself to take a picture of the rafters where their Stanley Cup banners were, and the Lemieux and Jagr jerseys were hanging, but I forgot and just left when the show was over. I do have one pic where you can see the 66 & 68 jersey's are at a distance at the top of the pic. I'll post it in a second.

Nice I see them, that's great! I remember one of Jean Claude Van Damme's movies was filmed in The Igloo going from memory here lol. Also a couple of movies I really like - The Next Three Days and Jack Reacher were filmed in and around the arena and downtown too.

I def can see why you chose Maiden and Priest as your two favorite shows as their your favorite bands, makes sense. I actually was in the mosh pit and up against the front rail for Slayer so I know some metal insanity, well I guess for Megadeth who opened but it got really amped up for Slayer. Metallica was my favorite live show, 2nd row off the floor in the middle so Hetfield and I sang enter Sandman at each other for a few seconds as the stage rotated lol - he was maybe 30 feet away. But they're my fave band so I have that bias lol.

But I haven't been to a fraction of the shows you have. I'm going to have to go through your YT channel and make some comments.
