I've enjoyed all four. The laughs vary from episode to episode just like they always have with Sunny.

I do think a lot of you are underating the Boggs episode though. Charlie's mom and the waitress were pretty funny for me. Heck, Charlie's mom made it for me alone with her comments.

It is still funnier than most everything except for South Park and Arrested Development. And even AD has become hit and miss.

I only didn't really like the 3rd ep much but that's just compared to the three other episodes, which I've really enjoyed, notably the second episode where I legit lol'd several times throughout. I don't see any signs of a downward trend for the show, thankfully.

I didn't like the ending, but it was far better than the previous two episodes I thought. The clip episode was very lazy, and I didn't find the bathroom episode funny either. To be perfectly clear, this is still Sunny we're talking about, so each episode has moments of hilarity and is better than 99% of what is out there.

For the current season I'd rank the episodes in order from best to worst as:

1) Episode 5: The Gang Gets New Wheels
2) Episode 4: Time's Up for the Gang
3) Episode 3: The Gang Beats Boggs: Ladies Reboot
4) Episode 8: Charlie's Home Alone
5) Episode 2: The Gang Escapes
6) Episode 7: The Gang Does a Clip Show
7) Episode 6: The Gang Solves the Bathroom Problem
8) Episode 1: The Gang Makes Paddy's Great Again

I know they've always touched on current events, but I can't help but feel like they're doing it more than ever right now and I just don't find it as funny.

I'll have to give them all a re-watch, or five, after the season is over and see if they are any better with additional views. Some of the episodes I didn't enjoy as much from previous seasons have become some of my favorites over time. Looking forward to tonight's new one.

Agreed. Mac can be effective in small doses, but as the go-to, I just found him to be annoying

I don't think it's the characters, I think it's the writing. They just had an episode with the regulars plus Cricket, Ponderosa, the soldier, uncle Jack and still not a single funny line.

The montage at the end just reminded me that some Philly kid ate horse shit after the Super Bowl.
