Watching the highlights of dorks like Acciari, Nieto and Ryan Shea just sucks.

This team would give the post game player award to Grz for blocking a random shot instead of Puljujarvi for scoring a sick goal. Deeply unlikeable dweebs. Blow it up and establish an entirely new identity/culture. Stale and dorky.

The fact that the game plan is to possess the puck against this team tells you all you need to know about this coach. Trying to win the cycle game against the Jets with a bunch of undersized geriatrics is about as dumb as it gets.

Not only that, but half of them have hands of stone, so.. How the hell we are supposed to thread passes around is some wishful ass gameplan.

This has just been a bad team for years, and now they're really bad. This is what it's been whenever Sid or Geno aren't going. Now those two can't get goin' nearly as consistently and they've gone from support like Phil, Hornqvist, (good) Rust, and Jake to Beau, Bunting, (bad) Rust, and like, f***in' DOC.

In theory they have Erik Karlsson. Except he is bad.

Have any of you guys watched the American Gods TV series? I just finished the book and wondering if it’s worth watching?

Yeah, I was stoked when that deal happened but that was a huge swing and a miss. Dude still probably has gas left in the tank on a better team with a better coach but yeesh.
It was a worthwhile Hail Mary by Dubas, one of his few good moves. But it tanked.
IDK, San Jose was terrible with the guy and then no one wanted him. The league has concluded he's not a positive-value hockey player, at least not at his salary.

Well that didn't take long. 25 shots? Lol. At least it's not 6-3 yet like the last time.

Not even worth the time to see the bitching I'm sure there's a lot of.

It’s worth watching. Start right now and forgo the third.
Good Omens is better.

I'm gonna use this as my wbs vd Bridgeport gdt too.

Definitely felt like their last hurrah at even trying something to jumpstart the team. Once it was clear it didn't work out, felt kinda like the team just shrugged and accepted that it'll be a death by attrition as they wait for Crosby to get his final Olympics.

I don't really give too much of a shit about the here and now tbqh. I think Sullivan sucks, I think FSG is trash, and I think Dubas is not really different from Hextall thus far, but I'll wait to really judge Dubas on how he handles the dismantling and post-Sid years. That's the important part--this team's been dead in the water since the Habs play-in imo.

I think he could still work. But the coach would have to expand his thinking of the game. There are other ways to win besides grinding and hurried blueline shot/pass redirects. You can take lesser teams and win games other ways. But you have to be able to identity and utilize specific talents of your players. Probably a bridge too far for this coach though.

Damn it Aho, Ruts had a nice look there.

Karlsson had a lot of say where he could go, teams wanted him but also wanted more retention. This notion EK wasn't wanted is wrong. Just because this stupid f*** team ruins virtually most players, doesn't mean they're shit.

They're just coached by shit.
