GDT: Isles vs. Rangers

I was there going at it verbally with rangers fans. The real NYI fans showed up. The wimpy LI "fans" never showed up. As usual.

really? i live a mere 20 minutes away via the 4/5 trains and i decided not to go last night.....i hail from LI originally, so i guess i still am trying to shake off the wimp

your arguments would have better legs if you learned to use tact once in a while

Shot stats

Beau and the 4th line were our best forwards last night. Pulock and Pelech our best d-men.

Need to throw some props out to two of our more beleaguered players... I thought Josh skated really well last night and created multiple scoring chances.

Brock snapped off a few really nice shots, well placed, that only solid goaltending kept out of the net.

On a separate note I want to agree with what many of you said... time to give some of these prospects some NHL ice time.

Must be because I moved to LI, I got whimpy too! I mean, I could walk there from work (if I wasn't a whimp), it's literally on the way home for me, so my attendance was required. Too bad nobody wanted to go with me and I didn't want to go by myself. I need friends who aren't whimps.

Side note: I just got invited to a closed group on Facebook, called "Bring the Islanders Back Home"

Wimpy? Give a Long Island fan a sledge hammer, key and a car with out of town plates and you'll see the opposite of wimpy!
