GDT: Isles vs Philly

I was joking, he was actually decent at something? lol
I didn't even realize the Boychuk dropping sarcasm part.

But yeah he can use his size well but that's it. Liked him making the forwards dump it, they couldn't get around him really and his partner would go in and grab it first.

Wilotherspoon was the worst dman and then Mitch van sumpel. Some sloppy puck handling in the d zone
Strome has been in a few in his junior days. I thought he handled himself well there. Ditto Prince. not to say I want them to be fighting too often, but it's nice to see they can handle themselves a bit there.

Yeah it was great, and they stood up for Pelech too.

So, good for Strome sticking up for a team mate that got run from behind. He kind of blind sided Cousin's but that's to be expected when you cheap shot someone.
And Prince also, you can see in the video after the hit on Cousins he slashes the defender chopping his stick in half again team mates sticking up for one another.
Good to see .

agreed, it's good to see some gritty play from average size players. Cousins has been described as an agitating forward, so i'm not surprised to see him draw some ire.

Prince tuned him up pretty good.

Good to see the fire in Strome and Prince, both guys won their fights, which is good to see since I believe we lost both fights in the rookie scrimmage against Philly.

Boys sticking up for their boys, Pelech probably appreciated it from both guys.

It's a big year for Strome, he seems like he's taking the bull by the horns and he wants to really become a big part of this team. With Frans no longer around, he has a great opportunity to seize that #2C spot and really emerge as a core member. I've always looked at him as the possible Robin to Tavares' Batman, it's time he comes out of his shadow and becomes his own man. Probably helps that Barzal is in the picture to light more fire under his ass.

With years under their belts, it's time that Strome/Nelson/Lee rebound from down seasons and provide the secondary scoring that is badly needed. Giving JT some help would do wonders for the entire forward group. We have a real top line with Tavares as the centerpiece and our bottom-6 is quite solid, we need a strong 2nd line to round out the group.

this prob the biggest factor when it comes to this team taking the next step. if this team had strong, consistent secondary scoring, they'd be one of the most dangerous teams in the league.
