Getting irate over your backup goalie not stopping a 4-on-2...

For a team that prides itself on their defense, the Rangers sure have a ton of brain cramps.

The Islanders simply look like the better team tonight. That's the problem.

Easiest to blame. It's easy to miss offensive and defensive mistakes but a you don't miss a goal.

I usually am one of the last to blame the goalie. But to say because it's a 4 on 2 it's not Biron's fault is just pressing it. He was hugging the post and didn't even move to block the shot. Like I said, he plays a Brodeur (without the flopping) style of goaltending, he has no butterfly. A righty coming down the right side (goalie's left) should have absolutely no chance of scoring. Simple. Biron can't let that goal in.

Richards has been a better point producer than Getlzaf right down the line pretty much their entire careers, including this year.

Its ok, you probably just can't comprehend the talent, hands, size, attitude Ryan Getzlaf has and what he would bring to this team.

Keep posting Richards point stats, and ill continue watching him labor on the ice, make horrible passes, and give away the puck over and over. A shell of his former self. Disgraceful.

We should try that thing we do on the 5 on 5 on the power play. You know, the part where they slap the stick against the puck and the puck goes flying away at high speed.

The fact that some of the people doesn't even recognize the two major mistakes before that goal went in supports my opinion. Sure, Biron made a bad call but that situation should have never even happened.

You just can't comprehend that Brad Richards is, always has been, and always will be a better player than Ryan Getzlaf, who is one of the most overrated players in the game and has spent his entire career padding his stats playing spoon-fed minutes one of the best young power forwards in the league, a Hart trophy winner, and a Hall of Famer.

If you think Richards is playing bad, just wait until you see what Getzlaf does. Less for more money.

In all seriousness, Getzlaf has been a serious underperformer the last couple of years. The difference between watching him years ago and watching him the last few years has been really depressing.

Richards on the PK?? Are you serious Torts? He has been our worst skater tonight. Richard's only valuable asset this season is his quick release and hard shot. That's all he brings to this team right now. No stability, no calming veteran prescence on the powerplay, he looks more scared of physical contact than Gaborik.

Richards is getting way too much icetime for a guy who is stinking.

Boyle sitting seems to have light a fire under his ass. Good end to the period. Rangers will win this game.
