I really don't understand how Brad fell off that quickly. He was never a fast skater or a scorer. He never had a hat trick in his career but he always found ways to score and put up points. Over his career 40% of his points were on the powerplay. Once we improve in that aspect, Brad's points will start coming. He already has 1 tonight and he is making mistakes all over the ice. Give it time and he will improve. But this is unacceptable, the way he is playing out there recently.

I haven't forgotten, and I know last year he got better and better as the season progressed, but I don't remember him being this horrible at the beginning of last season.

Lack of trust. Thinks a rookie will make a mistake and cost them the game.

I don't think this is a good sign. ie Tortorella not trusting inexperience players suddenly...
