Saginaw 6-2 over Mississauga. Jenkins with 2 goals + an assist, Coskey 1 goal and an assist and Wilde with an assist. The team is playing on all cylinders with NYI Prospects leading the way. Jenkins has been looking as good as ever.
Edit- Jenkins GP-8 G-7 A-7 Pt-14, Wilde GP-9 G-2 A-7 Pt-9 +2

Sorokin gave up 1 goal today in a 3-1 overtime win, stopping 30 shots. I guess he is a bust now!!

Saginaw wins 8-6 in a action packed game over Hamilton. Bode Wilde had 2 beautiful goals including the winner, Coskey with a goal and Jenkins with an assist. Puts Saginaw 2nd in the Western Conference behind London. They are playing very solid at the right time of the year. Impressed with how easy Wilde makes plays look so simple.

But Wilde's only a 'meh' prospect to all the other teams! Over-ripen him; leave him in junior until 22, then 6 years in the AHL, then he'll be ready for sheltered minutes! Can't wait!

Right because rushing him like Dobson is obviously the smart move. Not every prospect has the same development path.
I don’t think Dobson was rushed. Lou felt he had nothing left to learn in junior as he dominated that level. Unfortunately he could not play in the Ahl so this was probably the best way to develop Dobson. He’s shown flashes of his talent but also made some poor decisions with the puck.

Right so he should have played in the AHL but since he could not he was essentially rushed to the NHL. Rushing Bode Wilde through the minors is not what should happen with him.

I don’t agree that this is a “rushing a prospect” situation at all with Dobson. Yes, he’s still very young and is clearly not 100% up to NHL caliber, but he’s at least shown flashes of what kind of player he can be and hasn’t looked completely overwhelmed. There’s simply been some rookie mistakes but the talent can clearly be seen. It looks more like he’s slowly learning rather than him being rushed, whereas a lot of truly rushed prospects look completely out of their element.

There is a middle ground, you don't recognize sarcasm well, do you?

I can clearly recognize sarcasm, but your original post had the intent of saying the Islanders were taking too long with Wilde which leads me to believe you've never seen the guy play. If he were to play up here he would be a turnover machine.

Dobson certainly has shown flashes and let me say there weren't many options for him. He was in a truly unique situation here. That being said, the NHL is not for developing players and Hickey most likely would have been better THIS season in the NHL.

Grant Hutton with a 3 assist game yesterday(watched game on NHL network). Every time I watch him he just looks poised and steady. Really think he could be a nice find.
