Well I guess the only thing to do the rest of the season is to cheer for a playoff appearance. A win tonight leapfrogs us over three teams in the standings, one of them (Bruins) we’ll have two games in hand over.

Also puts us only seven points back of 3rd in the Metro with two games in hand against the Devils

Funnily enough, I saw a post on Ducks Reddit earlier linking an article about Zegras’ “star dimming” recently.

The Ducks fans were defensive of him, saying that he’s scoring less because he’s learned to play a more defensively responsible 200 ft game and is actually better than ever.

It reminded me of the Barzal cope from our fans in the past. “Hmm, he’s not scoring as much, he must be focusing more on being defensively responsible”

And I’m not sure what happened to Tsyplakov, who looked relatively decent earlier this year - he looks like complete trash at this point - can’t skate, stick handle, take or receive a pass - if he’s re-signed, it better be for close to league minimum
