Not really an issue for us....bigger issue is probably the real salary of $5 million.

But if he's a fat, butter-eatin' lazy ass, then He can stay in the AHL.
Oh if you are speaking about Canes getting him, then it`s not a issue for sure, for other teams it may be. I think GMRF and Peters like Ward too much, and no team want to take Lack back, if we were to trade for Halak or any other goalie

Man, the schedule for Canes to end the season is absolutely ridiculous. Starting on February 28th, Canes will have to play 24 games in 41 days. 6 back to backs and zero breaks of 2 days or more.

Umm, why? Makes no sense.

Those pictures. (Or maybe Lack took one off the head again :snide: )
Redemption?
Cult of Cam?
Tiny little tea leaves?
Peter's gut?

I doubt Lack would have gotten the same treatment (tonights start) after last night.

This is what happens when you lead the schedule with the World Cup, then have the All Star break and your bye week within a 3-week period. The rest of the schedule is super-compressed.

Lack has to be banged up, right? Even if Ward had lit it up last night, what sense would make it to start him again?

Or maybe Peters is seeing things he doesn't like from Lack in practice and is gonna run Ward until they're fixed. Remember, coaches don't just go on games when making lineup decisions.

But yeah- given last night, it's a strange choice. Cam didn't play great, and it's a back to back.

But who starts for the Isles is the more amusing question. Both Berube and Greiss were terrible.

Why is Ward in the net after yesterday. Come on Peters, it`s back to back, Lack lately has been okey, give him a chance.

Slavin - Pesce
Hanifin - Faulk or Murphy
Dahlbeck - Tennyson

Faulk is just sore from the shot block. With no morning skate, he hasn't had a chance to test it yet. He'll skate warm ups and then they'll make a call between him and Murphy.

good thing he plays stick puck and not shooty hoops

so instead of missing 3 months with a cramp he will play with a broken leg and his jaw wired shut

If Faulk can't go, or can but is "sore", whos taking the over/under on Slavin skating more than 30 minutes? I'm taking the over.
