Does anybody know the best way to watch a game in London? I think I just have to buy Gamecenter, but would be interested to know if any of our European fans use something different. All I know is that I'm not missing tonight's game.

I think he will. This has a 3-4 point night for Tavares written all over it
This is the Tavares/Nash show. Which ever player can get through the blanket that will be covering them will take over the game. Those are the guys that each team will be trying to shut down. We have the home ice line matchup advantage so maybe that will help. If both teams succeed in shutting those guys down then I think we come out on top with the better secondary scoring.

Tonight will be an all-out war. Going to be fun, especially with both teams playing well. If the Isles don't get too excited by the atmosphere they should be fine. Just limit the Rag$ chances and go out and HIT people. Get on the forecheck, force turnovers, and this game will be ours. LGI!!!

“If I could come back and play one game, it would be playing for the Islanders, playing the Rangers,†Resch said, “because there’s nothing in your hockey life that seems more important that.â€

This is the biggest Islanders vs Rangers game in 20 years. Last time it was sweet memories with Turgeon potting his 50th in OT to beat the Rangers. I will be at this game today and hopefully we will come out on top again. LETS GO ISLANDERS!!!

The family and I are visiting my brother and his wife up in Baltimore. (I live in Raleigh, so Baltimore is "up" for me while it might be "down" for you guys up on the island.)

I told my wife about the game and how I might be a dick tonight about wanting to watch it. She understands. I have trained her well.

I'm using Gamecenter as well, for a whole season it is definitely the best thing. A one day pass is expensive though (10$). Regarding alternatives... I guess there are not many. Apart from the usually bad streams floating around there is also HockeyStreams, but I also never tried it and don't know about costs, how legal it is etc.

I don't know if NHL is covered otherwise in UK, so there also could be the danger of a blackout with Gamecenter. Maybe other guys here know further options. As I said, in general I can recommend Gamecenter, it's fine if you can eliminate the possibility of a blackout. Price is steep for one day of course.

she learned well...shes a keeper

Isles need to win in regulation, to put a little space between them and the Rangers.

Very excited for this game.
Let's go Islanders :handclap:

would love to see another Tavares hatty, like the one he had last year against the Rag$...then we can all chant John Tavares as the rags fans walk out of the barn

5-3 isles win

Carkner is also extremely slow and is never the first one to get the puck in the corners.

You'd be better off with Martinek than Carkner. The Rangers rely on their forecheck and will eat up a guy with limited mobility (Carkner). A guy who can get into the corner, retrieve the puck and make a solid first pass out of the zone will make things difficult for the Rangers.

I will be furious if Martinek is in for Carkner tomorrow. I can see Capuano doing it to tone the team down and it would be a BIG mistake. You need to protect your team tomorrow.

why down on martinek when he plays so well, hustles his butt off etc. He is waaaay more mobile than carkner. But we probably need carkner for toughness in this game.

"we have a cheap owner"
Is an absolutely asinine comment. He is not a perfect man, and made huge errors in trusting Milbum. BUT: This man has basically given Islander fans over the past 10-12 years a free gift of millions of dollars. He is losing between 10-20 million a year on this team, and you call him a cheap owner? STUPID....... How many other owners would give a free gift to total strangers for no reason? HE IS NOT MAKING A PROFIT

Great quote. I didn't realize he felt that way

i thought so too... and i didn't either.
i wish 80's and later born Isles fans the joy of the 70's and 80's rivalry. while the last 20 years or so had some great moments, the defining one is horrific for isles fans. if we can start the clock at 1975 again, the next 15 years will be interesting... and fun.

Id like to add that it would be a really bad thing if he sells the team now, because a new owner, that maybe has no idea what is going on, may get rid of everyone, effectively losing everything that Snow has built here. All you have to do is look at past history of our new owners.

man.... as if I was not anxious about this day already!!!!

Have a 12 o'clock finals game for my son's hockey team - Game 1,

my ticket partner can't make tonight's game.....

I have never taken my son to an Isles/Rags game (12 yrs old)

then I see how much I could get for the tickets..... 307 row E aisle seats (2)

Screw it....

This is a memorable game and he has never experienced either a playoff game or Rags game with this much at stake. It should blow his mind!!!! if all gets too crazy in the stands, I will do the unthinkable and leave early whatever the score is.

Man this will b a crazy night!! GO ISLES!!!!

id love to see Martin/Cark beat the piss out of Ryane Clowe to start the game off.

Going to need Martin playing his usual ..take no prisoners game...Carkner also.....might be wise to dress Bolton to handle to fighting...would be a big loss losing either for 5mins at a time. Everyone is throwing the odd check no need for anyone to revert to pansy's with the big hitter in the box for scrapp'in. :shakehead

Mark Streit needed 5 stitches at edge of left eye to close stick cut from Thursday. Vision is fine, but scary moments for #Isles captain.
