You simply can't blame the GM for not trading a 2x rocket winner and mvp center and a winger right with him for points in franchise history before they are 25 years old.

Tavares has a NMC and Nylander is one of the best value contracts in the league. Not sure you are a better team moving on from Nylander. It's understandable. Not like they are bottom of the standings and he refuses to move on
