Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Barzal only available in a package for a clear upgrade. He has his warts (doesn’t go to net) but he’s an elite transition/possession player in this league, and lots of isles fans seem to ignore the defensive impact that that has on a game. That being said, if he’s the best player on your team it’s not his fault, but it’s a problem.
We could trade him if we were getting a legit alpha dog but you’d hope to have both.
1st, expiring UFA, Raty would be the Horvat trade and we would do it.

Dobson and Boqvist may have been drafted near each other but they have very different value. Boqvist won’t garner enough back in a trade for it to make sense. Dobson, something like 2 firsts + Frost + Brzustewicz. Palmieri is in the 2 2nds range I think, but I doubt Lou sends him to Canada.
there isnt going to be an isles firesale aside from trading Nelson if they cannot extend before deadline .
Leafs, our prospect pool is pretty meh and we don't have a 1st this year but we could probably come up with something that would interest you guys
There's no fire sale happening. Nelson, Palm and JPG should be moved. Dobson is only available for an upgrade, not futures.

The smart move IMO would be Pionk (with Jets adding) for Pulock, and then Isles flip Pionk as a rental for a pick.
... unless Pionk has been great and Pulock has been really bad this year. I haven't followed their seasons closely since October-ish.

It’s a “fire” sale! That means damaged goods that must go and are (therefore) at greatly reduced prices. So what's the cheap price on Barzal?

The Islanders have enough people with too much term. A adding in a center who can’t play center (with too much term) isn’t helping the situation and is just putting wet scotch tape on a leaky Tupperware.

I think the Oilers need guys like Brock Nelson and Ryan Pulock.
What would be the realistic ask for Nelson @ 50% retention? Oilers happy to trade a 1st I would think. Maybe Henrique goes the other way to even the money out. He is having an okay year but the Oilers need to upgrade several positions. Happy to add another pick to make this happen.
Oilers also need an upgrade in the mid pairing right side. Pulock would fit nicely.
Both are on your #1 PK unit, correct? Edmonton needs help in that area as well.
