Rookie D-men tend to do that lol. Luke has so much good to offer, there'lll be growing pains, but we haven't had an offensive D-man of his caliber and potential since Niedermayer.

If he can put up Karrlson numbers, I'm ok with Karrlson defense. He'll only get better defensively and we have enough other guys to protect leads.
His scouting report always said he was a "great skater for someone his size," I think we're seeing him anticipate plays and carry the puck more. I don't know that he's skating better but it definitely looks like he's added a more aggressive puck-moving element to his game.

Luke isn't having his best game (still had strong moments and good offense), but I think Nemec has looked pretty damn good tonight.

Looks elite. The matter of Bratt will he be in power to play on this level consistently. Nylander progressed through years and I dont think that Bratt cant.

Thankfully for Luke and Nemec we have a strong veteran d core to help ease them in. What Fitz has done with this team’s defense in a few short years is nothing short of remarkable.
