Luke and Nemec not looking great tonight.

I think Simon starts the year in the A. He’d have to really be killing it out there for them to roll with two rookies on D.

Luke is going to drive some people insane on this board this season. I can already see the freak outs.
If he can put up Karrlson numbers, I'm ok with Karrlson defense. He'll only get better defensively and we have enough other guys to protect leads.

He looks faster, which is scary for how big he is.
His scouting report always said he was a "great skater for someone his size," I think we're seeing him anticipate plays and carry the puck more. I don't know that he's skating better but it definitely looks like he's added a more aggressive puck-moving element to his game.

I don’t think there’s been a young defenseman who wasn’t infuriating every once in a while since…Fayne?

Not really shocked about Luke and Nemec looking like kids versus a veteran laden roster but their up's and downs this year should've been expected. A guy like Colin Miller shouldn't be getting hosed like he has.

Not able to watch the game tonight, but following the box score. Is anybody actually playing goal for either team, or is it a Shooter Tutor vs a Trash Can on its Side?
