Based on what I read online, it appears that 2016 World Cup revenue was not included in HRR but rather the profits were split evenly between the NHL and the NHLPA. I think the NHL's share of the profits was divided amongst the teams, but I haven't found anything to confirm that. I know the NHLPA's share was divided amongst the players. Each player in the tournament got ~85K each while non-participatimg NHLPA members got up to 10K based on how long they were on a NHL roster the previous year. There were also bonuses for the top teams in the tourney.

My understanding is that the setup is similar for the 4 Nations. It has been mentioned that players are receiving an appearance fee and that there is a prize pool for the winners. I think it's also been stated that the profits are again being split 50/50 between the NHL and the PA.
