Apparently Dallas is having a difficult time signing Jamie Benn to a contract extension. Benn is looking for a similar deal to Taylor Hall in salary and term.

Is this a center worth poaching? and would this possible trade take priority over getting Lou between the pipes? What would it take to get him?

Dallas must sign him. They are not much of a team without Benn. They would definitely suffer the same NO1C syndrome as Leafs of recent past. So in this fan view, there is no way you can trade for Benn with Dallas.
