Is there any chain pizza place in Canada worse than Pizza Pizza?

Calgary, Alta.
It's Papa Johns AINEC. God that place is gross. My favourite chain joint is probably Sarpino''s in Victoria. Not sure where else they are though.

Chicago Deep Dish here in Calgary is pretty good as well.

Second Slice is pretty hit or miss.

papa johns is definitely trash for the sheer fact they use ham cubes, and not sliced ham on their pizza. that is ****ing ********

Enjoy our garbage fast food chain pizzas as they continue to invade the free world like a virus. Lol.

Brutally honest assessment of Dominos btw. Glad to see they're keeping the standards up there.

Who cares? Who the f@$* orders ham on pizza anyways when bacon is readily available? I've only had Papa John's once, since there are not a lot of them around here, but the $5 one topping small I had from them was excellent, plus their free garlic dip is superior to the more generic creamy kind.

Gino's Pizza is absolute ****ing garbage. Don't waste your money folks.

Lirl @ people who wasted their time and money going to Boston Pizza. Imagine supporting a Canadian businessman who thought it'd be cool to name his business after an America city, which shares no relationship with pizza.

Yeah, Boston Pizza was not very good. Luckily, however, I "wasted" only ten minutes of my time and $12 of my money. It was quick, close and convenient, but, in the end, not worth it.

I find Gino's is very hit or miss. They don't seem to have the same franchise wide consistency of bigger chains, so each location is more like a mom and pop shop. Some are great, others not so much.

As for Boston Pizza, the guy purchased an existing business with the name, he didn't come up with it himself. After he grew it from a flop to a very profitable venture, it would have been stupid to give up the goodwill that comes with name recognition just to have something more Canadian.

So are we supposed to support this post since it's coming from a Canadian poster who thinks it's cool to cheer for an American hockey team ???? ;)

Yea Pizza Pizza is atrocious.

Megabite is a Vancouver-only chain but it is delicious. I highly recommend it.

It's not that, I was getting at the irony of naming your business because of the "brand appeal" of Boston, even if it doesn't make sense for the stuff that its selling.

I mean, when you think Pizza, you don't really think of Boston.
