Aside from the notable names in the top two rounds you have a lot of NHLers in the later rounds like:

Kaprisov
Cirelli
Aidin Hill
Montemboult
Kolesar
Carrier
Gavrikov
Joseph
Garland
Bear
Vejmelka

This class is better than 2003 IMO.

The 2015 class has like 5 players better/trending to be better than Bergeron/Weber/Getzlaf all time

Mcdavid (already better all time than anyone from that class)

Eichel (trending to be better)

Marner (trending to be better)

Rantanen (trending to be better)

Kaprizov (trending to be better but late NHL start hurts him)

Plus so many very good to elite talents outside of that in

Werenski
Barzal
Connor
Aho
Boesor
Hanafin
Chabot

1983 has eight HOFers although Tretiak, Makarov and Fetisov are in mainly for their international play. Still LaFontaine, Yzerman, Barrasso, Neely and Hasek. Ironically #1 Lawton and #2 Turgeon weren’t stars

Kaprizov - McDavid - Marner
Connor - Eichel - Rantanen
Hintz - Aho - Barzal
Cirelli - Eriksson Ek - Konecny

vs.

Parise - Staal - Pavelski
Vanek - Getzlaf - Perry
Backes - Bergeron - Carter
Richards - Kesler - Brown

2015 much faster and more skilled, 2003 much more physical.

2003 defense and goalies in landslides.

2015 B team kills the 2003 B team probably though.

It's 1979, hands down.

1979
- Mark Messier, Ray Bourque, Mike Gartner, Michel Goulet, Glenn Anderson, Dale Hunter, Brian Propp, Neal Broten, John Ogrodnick, Thomas Steen, Dave Christian, Mike Foligno, Guy Carbonneau... Carbonneau being the only that had fewer than 700 points.

Definitely the best draft of all time:
You can ice 50+ NHL Forwards, 20+ Defenders, 7 NHL caliber keepers...

All Time Team A:
Kirill Kaprizov - Connor Mcdavid - Mikko Rantanen
Kyle Connor - Jack Eichel - Mitch Marner
Sebastien Aho - Roope Hintz - Matthew Barzal
Dylan Strome - Anthony Cirelli - Travis Konecny
Timo Meier

Zach Werenski - Noah Hanifin
Vince Dunn - Rasmus Andersson
Thomas Chabot - Matt Roy
Erik Cernak

Mackenzie Blackwood
Adin Hill

Team B
Jake Debrusk - Joel Eriksson Ek - Brock Boeser
Anthony Beauvillier - Pavel Zacha - Troy Terry
Andrew Mangiapane - Jack Roslovic - Conor Garland
Lawson Crouse - Nick Roy - Keegan Kolesar
Jordan Greenway

Ivan Provorov - Brandon Carlo
Jonas Siegenthaler - Alexandre Carrier
Niko Mikkola

Joey D'Accord
Samuel Montembeault

Team C
Mason Appleton - Tomas Novak - Daniel Sprong
Matthew Joseph - Kevin Stenlund - Yakov Trenin
Steven Lorentz - Colin White - Adam Gaudette

2003 is deeper than 2015 in my opinion

The Red Wings 2015 draft has got to be one of the worst of all time considering how insane this draft is.

It’s got nothing on 1892:

1. Mumbley Terwilliger

2. Chester Quimby

3. Burlap “Eggs” McJiggins

4. Percival Torkelson IV

5. Randy “No-Knees” McSnurd

6. Buckminster O’Flannigan

7. Adolf Hitler (the other one)

8. Elmer Tingle

9. Chris Chelios

10. Elwood “Milk Bag” Trempealeau

did you know there were drafts before 2003?

1979
4 HOFers
7 players with 1000+ points
3 players 500+ goals
17 players with 1000+ games
44 players with 500+ games
4 goalies to play 250+ games, plus Pelle Lindbergh (teh best of them all) who only played 157 as a result of him dying at age 26
