When a tough guy doesn’t do tough things for 10 games, it’s the player and not the concept that should be blamed.

Ilya Samsonov not making any saves in the first period vs Tampa doesn’t mean the idea of having a goalie is stupid. It means you have a goalie not doing his job.

They signed a 36 year old to a 3 year deal. He's always been headed for Clifford treatment. His play dictates how long the ride lasts before he ends up down there. But, I think we can all get used to the fact that he is this years Clifford/Simmonds and he'll be up here for year 1.

We were significantly better once we he was benched last night. His line has produced 0 goals this year and been on for 8 against. Absolutely putrid.
