Boston is thoroughly mid this year. If Ottawa was ready to take the next step Boston shouldn't be an obstacle. The east is actually really bad this year outside of a handful of teams.

...Tkachuk isn't the problem there, imo...too many unengaged floaters...Ottawa needs to be a much harder team to play against instead of running around always looking for a "highlight reel" play...
