Which is why I'd like to see them kept to a couple of clearly marked threads, so I can ignore them.
It says it right in the title. Where else would you like it? Would you like a cool little graphic like the GDT and stuff? Because I would like that too.

Problem is you never ignore them. You love these threads. You wouldn't be here every time if you didn't. Which is cool, come chat with us, bring your opposing points, but save the pearl clutching. No one is 'offending' you by discussing an aspect of hockey, in a hockey forum.

So you can ignore them???

Cause it's not like there's a literal function to... IGNORE threads? And even if there wasn't, maybe you could just like.. not read them?

Like holy cow buddy

Which is why you get involved with EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Doesn't know about the ignore thread function. Doesn't know that he can simply not read a thread. But wants to come in here and post anyway.

The logic just blows me away.

maybe leafs fans should STFU especially on social media trying to brag shit.

i recall kadri was leading the league in drawn penalties and then people started shit talking on social media about bob ross painting and what not and that was it for kadri drawing penalties.

they did the same shit with bunting this season and history repeats itself.

Fans bragging has nothing to do with it, after every game refs/linesmen get a package of video's that shows them the calls they got wrong. You get to see Bunting in his glory attempting to manipulate your peers and yourself, eventually you build up disdain for certain players. Refs are apparently human too, evidence I have yet to see :D

What is different with the Leafs is, millions of people see your mistakes when you ref the Leafs, a handful see your mistakes when you ref San Jose, naturally, you are going to be more sensitive to not being made to look like a sucker when you ref a Leafs game vs a never seen team.

I'm so confused re; this posting problem. This post is a test.

Sorry we still cant see your posts .. :D

Bunting is getting the Kadri treatment now, as he should be.

If you're going to engage, you need to be willing to drop the mitts and punch the other guy in his stupid ugly face.

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Red Wings that general manager Kyle Dubas will have a word with the league about officiating decisions on forward Michael Bunting.

Keefe pointed out one instance where Bunting drew a 10-minute misconduct for kicking away Moritz Seider’s stick at the end of a second-period scrum.

Keefe said the decision was in line with recent calls going against his 27-year-old winger.

“Surprised? Based on the way that he’s been officiated of late, no, I’m not surprised at all. So, that’s part of it. But [Bunting] has got to do his best to stay on the line in terms of how he’s been officiated. [Dubas] will deal with that with the league,” Keefe said.

“He eats three cross checks, and he gets taken to the box with it. I don’t know if he had four, five punches to the face in the scrum and he ends up with a 10-minute misconduct. So, it’s tough for him but he’s got to find his way through that. And like I said, Kyle will deal with the other stuff and see what we can get done there, but Bunts has got to be able to stay focused and just keep playing.”

Bunting was handed a two-minute penalty for embellishment earlier in the game.

The Scarborough, Ont., native leads the Maple Leafs in penalty minutes this season with 92 and is tied for eighth in the NHL.

Bunting has 22 goals and 25 assists in 76 games this season, his second with the Leafs.

Bunting is now becoming my biggest worry in the playoffs. The guy is on the radar of the refs. It’s going to be the Kadri syndrome without the bad hits. He’ll be suspended for looking stupid or getting cross checked to the face. Ffs.

Lol my biggest worry is the net coming off guaranteed it will get called a penalty at a crucial time in the playoffs

He won't be a leaf next year so don't need to worry much about this

Playoffs teams son't get as many calls already so he shouldn't be getting called for embellishment

He's almost certainly going to be a marked man by the refs

Don't think you understand..

Refs will always find someone on the Leafs to put the target on. Players find out quick that the whistles blow differently when wearing the leaf, Kadri was an earlier target, I remember kerfoot getting frustrated when he use to be targeted and sure it changes the play of some players knowing they gotta be extra clean to come even close to an evenly called in a game where emotions can get high at times.

One of the Top possession teams in the league but always around the bottom 5 in penalty differentials. If the other teams always chasing the puck and we still get more calls against it should worry you.

Not a bad idea to lean on the officials before the playoffs start. If they are biased against Bunting and purposely calling him or ignoring infractions it will put the spotlight on them.

I just read that Marchand is 2nd in penalties drawn since 2018. Is that true?

Whoever it was before who was bringing up Marchand in regards to Bunting looks foolish now.

Kipper is spot on ...

Rosie is right... there is a different lower bar set for Bunting.

When the authority has all the power and targets you ... no wonder why Bunting is so upset at the Leafs.

... at a certain point player safety has to be the primary consideration vs the ref's clearly looking to hand our frontier justice. The ref's need to be careful, if Bunting is seriously hurt he has a real strong case, with dozens of examples where the refs put their whistles away and Bunting was injured, to sue the NHL and the Refs. There is an expectation that the ref's manage the game to prevent intentional acts that cause injuries If the ref's are such delicate snowflakes that they can't handle Buntings chirping, they are in the wrong job.

I don't think anyone is debating that bunting is the King Rat but c'mon , enough is enough.

It's weird. It seems to have begun with the Dan Kelly incident when he put hands on Bunting. My guess is the team dealt with it off ice and there is bad blood between the team and the officiating.

This is nothing to new to us man, they suspended Kadri for 2 consecutive series Debrusk got nothing, last year refs put the whistles up their ass every time Tampa committed an infraction in games 6 and 7, Bunting is getting f***ed by the officials now.

I cannot remember the last time we had one of these bullshit calls/suspensions go in our favor

It's just pathetic, the league doesn't even try to hide it. At least with the NBA/NFL they hold the referees somewhat accountable, this is straight up nonsense. Refs think they run the league and just power tripping.
