In general, the cutoff has kind of been 1000 points and he's already hit that (which is what I was surprised at). So based on that, when you include everything else, yeah, he's a lock for the HOF.

Needs to average 60ish per season assuming he plays until 38-39-40 so should easily do with a few more 100+'s in there.

Will make the argument for franchises best player ever and will be a slam dunk with 1 more Hart/Cup.

But Sakic is an arguable top 20 for sure player and top 10 for some. Crazy MacKinnon "should" pass him.

I think(somehow) Mack is actually kinda quietly catching Sakic all time. He's 626pts behind Sakic right now going into his age 30 season, which doesn't seem out of the question for Mack to pass Sakic in points and their hardware is pretty similar right now. Sakic does have a Smythe which is pretty big, but there's a real chance Mack could go down as the greatest Av which was pretty unthinkable for some time.
