Is Josh Anderson the worst contract in the NHL?

Who the f*** think he's Eric Lindros ? I want names lol
You'd have to go to the Trade Talk subforum.

HFBoards is very in love with players that are big and often overrate their ability to the point where it's borderline fan fiction. The Tanner Jeannot thread in that same forum is rife with examples.

The first 10 or so pages is filled with people thinking he's Eric Lindros, the last 10 or so is filled with those same people pretending they knew Tampa grossly overpaid for him.

Reaves contract is not looking good either.

Cap hit of $5.5M, actual salary if $8M this year and $7M for next season.

Despite close to 17 minutes a game, with over 2 minutes a game of PP time, he has 2 points and 0 goals in 23 games. According to Natural Stat Trick, his primary linemates are Alex Newhook and Nick Suzuki. When playing with Anderson both players have been heavily outchanced and outshot and their results improve markedly when he's away from them.
You ever hear of Jack Campbell?

No. Huberdeau could be easily moved at $3 million retention (maybe less). Anderson is so bad, him taking up a contract space is a major issue. Even with 50% retention, you can't have a guy with 2 points and no goals in 23 games.
Rakell?

Any of the Blues long term contracts on defense are way worse. Josh Anderson sucks but good lord Marc Bergevin tried. He really did.

He's not playing great but not terrible either

Just for the cap hit alone, I would think that Nurse and Huberdeau are way worse contracts

As for the "actual money" shit, Montréal don't give a f*** about that nonsensey hiring
Only cap hit money is an interesting discussion for us, "real money" related stuff is for poor teams fans to talk about
Nurse has looked great since Coffey has been hired. Woody had the defence scattered around the dressing room. Maybe it just a a new coach jump but since Knob has them sitting together they are able to talk and seem to be getting a lot better. We see if it lasts.

Also Campbell would like to say hi. AHL back up making NHL starter money has to be worst.

Was going to be but the Oilers are expecting to much for him in return.
I don't think the Oilers are expecting anything. I think they don't like the cost to dump him and than you have to add the cost of a new goalie.

If Allan is worth a 3rd and Campbell is going back add a 1st +2nd with the Oilers retaining 25% maybe more.
