All of you who are putting Auston Matthews ahead of Eichel do realize all scouts pretty well admit if eichel wAs in Matthews draft year Matthews would be a distant second.

Not busting your balls here, but I am pretty sure I read in multiple places that most scouts said Matthews would be #1 over Eichel if they were in the same draft class.

It's been rather evenly divided, which is not that weird since they are extremely close as prospects.

First of all, like I said in the beginning of the year and maintain now, William Nylander will win the Calder.

Secondly, you spent the entire summer saying Eichel was in a tier above Matthews.That didn't turn out to be the case. Someone here has hurt feelings and it isn't me.

Lastly, explain how you can conveniently remove 4 goals and act like that accurately assesses a players offensive output.

As for Eichel, as I have stated before not very fair to judge him while he is injured. If Matthews can duplicate Eichels season last year I will be pretty happy. Eichel is an amazing player and having another player who is in the same tier as him is really exciting for the Leafs.

As for best rookie well the Leafs have stacked the deck on that one.....
