That was a clean hit... He went though his chest / shoulder, he didn't leave his feet, he didn't move his shoulder up etc. Not his fault Nurse wasn't paying attention and got destroyed.
We wanted toughness, now people are whining like they’re oiler fans.

With the bottom 6 almost completely incapable of any offensive production whatsoever it's time to fill Reaves' spot with a player than can score at least, what, 5-6 goals a year?

First off I made a statement about "over 35" contracts last night, my presumption was wrong as @keonsbitterness and another poster tried to correct me. I looked it up and it turns out I was wrong not the first time nor the last. I do apologize for questioning their knowledge.

And no Reaves doesn't need to be waived, it's a dumb knee-jerk reaction. If they waived him how does it look to the disciplinary people, not to mention upsetting the fine balance of dressing room chemistry.

Can Hakanpaa scrap?

Tbh Reavo doesn't usually take bad penalties. A lot of enforcers take a lot of oenalties that aren't just fighting majors, Reavo really doesn't.

A bit, he's not the best in the world but pretty decent, I remember he took out Brayden Schenn within the last couple of years.

Fighting doesn't really happen in the playoffs anymore.

It's the Xhekaj's, Wilson's and Rempe's that I'm worried about. We have plenty of middle weights that can go but there's still a few heavyweights around.

Wilson is probably the only one to be concerned with.

Xhekaj is really bad and might not last in the league.

Rempe is also really bad at hockey, might not last much longer either.

Someone that might make sense as a 7th-8th defenseman next year is Dylan Mcilrath, he's a pretty good fighter and capable of spot duty in the NHL.

I feel like Florida doesn't have that huge heavyweight enforcer but they do things by committee, they've got the hive mentality where if you attack one you're getting jumped by two others. We're not quite there yet although I've seen some instances that have shown me we're on the way to that.

We need that mentality before we waive Reavo imo.
