Is it common for admins and mods to not reply to private messages?

I had my thread locked, so I tried discussing it with the admins and mods. I messaged four of them and they don't reply to messages even when they're online. Some of the messages date back to Wednesday and still no reply yet.

There was another time when I was talking to a mod and their reply was, "Your message has been passed on. Don't start these back up unless a mod says it's OK." I never heard back from any mods after the message was passed on. I'm just asking to see if my message will get ignored like last time.

I have no idea who closed your poll but if you're talking about Sid Abelpollooza then it's probably because we don't need a poll series over every NHL player in history based on their name and not some point of merit or interesting discussion.
