I suppose it's possible, but for a guy who has made $86.9 million what good is signing a $750,000 contract on a bad team (he has no use for a team trying to compete)?

I think he can work as a mentor #12/13 forward kinda like Thornton but his days of producing as a top 9 player are over. But who knows, he looked bad for the Rangers and many people wrote him off after that as well only for him to recreate himself.

same deal as why Spezza keeps going, dude wants to play and wants to win. He'll keep going as long as someone will sign him.
