Apparently GMs agree with me soAbsurd. Boeser is a good defensive player, heavily committed 200ft game (despite his speed limitations), works hard in the dirty areas, and has proven himself capable of scoring when things get difficult in the playoffs.
Laine is more talented but hasn't proven himself to be as dedicated to those areas as Brock has. Give Boeser some credit, his success hasn't come easily unlike it seems with Laine.
