Is any seat at game better than watching on tv

There is no better view of a game than upper level, 1st row, center ice.

But, there is no better overall experience than sitting lower level either behind one of the teams nets (preferably the one your team is shooting on twice) or behind the benches.
To each their own

It's an entirely different experience for sure. Sitting on the glass behind the net legitimately feels like you're watching a different event. The speed and the sound of everything is amplified x10. I think it's all what you're into.

Upper bowl, first row center ice. Lower bowl, behind the net, sight line just above the goalies head. My favorite seats in NHL arenas.

AHL -- front row, any corner.

As I've gotten older I prefer TV over the time, expense, and effort it takes to attend live. No question the sport is best seen live, but I've seen enough live games to where the tradeoffs involved in enjoying the games from home are worth it.

Agreed ... most of us agree that is the best value spot

But .. there is something to be said about being lower and hearing the blades carve into the ice

I love that noise.

Reminds me of 5 am midget hockey

unmistakable sound ..
Agreed, 100s are premium for sure. I wish there was an option where you could watch on TV with hockey sounds only and commentary off.
