"A hamburger (or cheeseburger when served with a slice of cheese) is a sandwich consisting of one or more cooked patties of ground meat, usually beef, placed inside a sliced bread roll or bun. Hamburgers may be cooked in a variety of ways, including pan-frying, barbecuing, and flame-broiling. Hamburgers are often served with cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, onion, pickles, and condiments such as mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, and chiles.[1]"

Technically yes

But they put it in its own section in menus

listen, ray claims hamburgers are not sandwiches. hamburgers being in their own section on menus is simply a piece of evidence in my favor. are they always in that section? no. are they usually in that section? no. but sometimes they are. and often there is a "burgers & sandwiches" section.

What do you classify as a sandwich?

If it comes between two pieces of bread, then it's a sandwich in my eyes. It it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and comes with bread...

exactly, finally a man of common sense smh

I think your avatar is a perfect example.

Here you have a nice chick-fil-a chicken sandwich. But if you took that chicken and replaced it with beef it's suddenly not a sandwich anymore? That doesn't make sense to me.

If you really wanted to as a restaurant, you could have a whole menu section dedicated to whatever sandwich you want. It doesn't mean it ceases to be one.
