not saying you guys are wrong, because i don't know the answer, but just challenging you guys.

Common nouns don't get capitalized.

When referencing the pantheon of Greek mythology, the word "god" doesn't get capitalized because they themselves each have their own names: Zeus, Athena, Poseidon, etc... those are their proper names. But they are all gods, which is a common noun... the same way you'd capitalize "Rex", your dog's name, but not capitalize the word "dog".

Rex is a dog. Zeus is a god. ---> both "dog" and "god" are not capitalized.

The phrase "God is a god" shows when to capitalize the word, and when not to.

since that poster didn't quote anyone, i just assumed they had a reason to say it. i actually went back and read the post prior to his and, using my grammar gut, saw nothing wrong. thisiswhyishoulddomyreasearch.png

My god told me not to worry about using a lower case g because he's "secure enough in my godhood" to not let it bother him.

i thought that was pretty cool of him.

I don't have an iPhone but my boss does (Bruins fan). He confirmed it works (Syracuse) but only if you change the language setting to Canadian Engrish. I guess this works in Sweden as well given the obvious.

My question is - this obviously must be a high-level change...I can't imagine Apple would authorise its developers to run wild and implement Siri responses without proper audit procedures and "blessings" from management. Where could this change have originated? Senior management must have been involved.

Or Siri uses an algorithm to generate responses.

code monkey's love doing this kind of stuff. It's all over the software world. Creative, bored, and barely supervised. There are more than a few little easter eggs to be found in all the big companies' products, not just apple.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Siri self-learning - the way all neural networks are designed.
Basically someone convinced Siri that Alfie is god.

OK. Looks like someone just fed Siri with hockey nicknames.
Mr. Universe, Cookie, Mule, Magic Man, Geno, Flower, The Monster work.
Only Alfie is classic though.

I tried this a few times and nothing worked. I just get the response "would you like me to search the web for an image of god?"

I got my language on English and country Canada, but didn't see any option for Canadian English. Do you have to have i.O.S 6 for it? I never upgraded cause I didn't want to disable maps.

Someone help me out, I wanna see this for myself!
