You're alot different than just being the opposite of a FANatic.I'm not miserable at all though, that is what is hilarious to me. How could you be miserable with how good this team has been the last 5 years? We missed winning the cup by 2 goals last year, it was a wildly successful year that you'd be an idiot to not have enjoyed. I just don't buy into the idea of "blind fandom", if I think a certain thing, whether its for/against my team, I say it. I get that this isn't the normal behavior for FANatics, so its confusing to many people. It's just a am with everything in life, I look at things for what they are, rather than what I wish them to be. Most people do this in life, but make exceptions for sports. I do this same exception as well, just not as much as others I've noticed. I know people are are cold and calculated in work life, but are 140% homers in sports, as example.
I thought we'd lose by a lot against LA as an example, cause I thought our players were too injured and our tending too poor. They turned it around in both regards, although Ekholm being out still really hurt. I actually feel more confident about the Vegas series, although we'll still need a lot of tending luck to get past them. But with Kane and Frederic both looking like they are largely past their injuries, that completely changes the dynamic of our forwards. Klingberg all of a sudden being competent has been a strange surprise as well, that helps offset the loss of Ekholm. I'd still say we were the underdogs against Vegas, but I could see us beating them.
Anyway, this is injury thread, not a "what does JD think about the world thread", lol, so I'll shut up now.
is there any word on Ekholm recently? With Pickard out I sure wish we had Ekholm to bolster the defense and limit the dangerous chances.

Yup I will record it and watch after now. So I can just fast forward when we inevitability are down by 2 goals 10 minutes into the game. Waste of time watching games with skinner in netAt least I can save some time by not watching Game 4. Auto loss with Skinner between the pipes.

When is Pickard's amputation scheduled for?
I guess that "s" in weeks is doing a lot of work. It could technically mean 2 weeks or 8 weeks, and still be correct.
My completely uneducated guess is yes. A core injury, if that is what it is, that takes this long and is this debilitating generally ends up in surgery.Curious if Ekholm will require offseason surgery no matter what.
