Now needs 8 in his last 10 games. Looking more doable by the minute. If he does not play again this year the Rocket Richard would still be very likely his. Nylander would have to score 10 goals in his last 11 games.
That and we're running out of healthy bodies.I knew as soon as we start dropping in the standings they'd activate them.
It’s impossible to get embarrassed when you have a dog next to you.I hope he plays, Im going to a brewery with my dog tomorrow, both with Oiler jerseys, I'd like to have a chance at not being embarrassed by the flames while im there.
True, I do live in Oiler's territory (Calgary)It’s impossible to get embarrassed when you have a dog next to you.
I just hope that we aren't rushing him back. At this rate standings mean little as long as we are still in a playoff spot, it's more important that we are as healthy as possible heading into the playoffs.
How do you know this for sure? Do you have insider info that no one else on here has?We absolutely are rushing Leon back. Not like we even have a choice as McDrai out = auto loss and potentially not even making the playoffs
That really hurts.Ekholm out v the Flames
The full roster did not look engaged vs. Seattle in our last game.I see these 'injuries' as a good way to keep everyone pushing for a spot during this preseason play. Need everyone going for the playoff push and it looks like the full roster is engaged right now. It's a good sign. We hopefully ice a full playoff ready roster with about 5 games to go to create that harmony.

Could be a few reasons for that, as has been mentioned. Plus, could just be one stinker where everyone has been bad. They've looked pretty good for a few games before that. The full roster did not look engaged vs. Seattle in our last game.
