So does that $107 squeeze the cap space accrual as well? Wasn’t going to be on the NHL roster if healthy and sending him down would cost $0 against the cap. Just another limit on what we spend at TDL!

Anyone injured in camp counts towards cap but most minor leaguers are 0. Not sure the calculations on Jarventie but it’s on Puckpedia. Can’t send him down until healthy.

Issue isn't so much fitting everyone in, but because the replacement will send them over the 88mil cap. they won't be acquiring cap space.

But between Jarventie and now Ryan the Oil likely just have to accept that they'll need to delay accruing cap for a week or so to start the season.
