Woo hoo! Great win even if the crowd was cheering in silent mode

Nice to beat another Canadian club

And Burmy did great. My jet of the game, other than Montoya.

Montoya should get the start next game! Would be nice if the former first round draft pick bloomed with us

Awesome game, Montoya was great besides the rebound control sometimes. Thought he was very aggressive and it's a nice change from Ondrej "toe the goal line" Pavelec.

Toby 25:34
Redmond 18:42

Hainsey may have had a few gaffes today but he still played just shy of 30 solid minutes with 5 blocked shots.

The Jets basically beat Ottawa at their own game.:handclap:

Nice 2 see Ottawa not steal 2 points like Toronto did on Thursday in a game they did not deserve 2 win.

Montoya was solid.

Any road win is a great win. Burmi and Monty were both huge this afternoon. Hansey was a beast and how he hasn't scored yet is beyond me. Loved the fore check, Sens had very little ice to work with. Well earned 2 points.

He had a very solid game today - had one particularly nice outlet pass from behind the net on his backhand too. Some pressure on him by two Sens and *poink*, perfect backhander for the FW to exit the zone. Reallly liked that one.

According to the Sens GDT, this was a pretty poor effort by their club, and I'm inclined to agree. No point stealing in this game.

Good road win! Gotta agree about Hainsey another solid game, anybody else find it very frustratring the way we play 5 on 5 in our end, they play like they are on a PK drives me crazy!

The only facepalm moment of the game for me was when Antropov tried that pass with 2 minutes left that almost ended up in a breakaway. Other than that, I really had nobody on my "what were you thinking" radar. :)

Great games by Burmi, Big Ron and Inigo. Redmond was solid, but looked a little shaky skating backwards on the rush.

Wheeler was utter *****. Can't retrieve a puck in our own zone to save his life.

Fantastic penatly killing.

It's kinda funny: we had better puck possession when we were on the PK - as soon as the PK was done, boom: stuck in our own end.

We'll see for sure once the Fenwick numbers come out.. sometimes it just feels like that.
Although it did for sure with me whenever our 3rd pairing and 4th line was out together. Dangerous move, and every time OTT put out the Alffie line to take advantage and other than score it worked for them.

Hainsey wasn't great today but has been a fantastic defender for us this year so far. Best one of the group defensively this season.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

I thought today was Burmistrov's best game of the season so far:

His defense and PK ability was good as usual but I thought he played a much smarter offensive game then he has played to date. Cycled well and was making quick, simple and smart reads. He was also getting his shots away from good positions on the ice which was really good to see as he usually shoots from the perimiter.

I really don't like Kane and Jokinen together, the two play to similar of a game. Id like to see Kane with Wheeler and Little again.

You mean something like (in no particular order):
Kane-Little-Wheeler
Ladd-Jokinen-Antro/Burmi
Poni-Antro/Burmi-Welly
