Pre-Game Talk: In like a Lion, out like a Lamb... 1 more at home, then 3 game roadie. Flamers, B2B at CBus/Hawks, and at B-Lose

Time to rest for the team. I don't see much point in risking anything. Play more the third and fourth liners imo. Give Makar and MacK a lot of power play time but otherwise try to reduce their minutes as much as possible.

Every player who has some injury just sit out. No point playing. It doesn't matter who we face in the playoffs as long as we make it. It will be bloodbath either way. This season there is no easy way.

Perfect time to give those guys more minutes who didn't play much and give top guys a small break before hell breaks loose.
I see why not. However, Bednar still gave Mack and Makar huge minutes in a completely meaningless game against the Flames. He can't help himself.

Manson isn't coming back before the playoffs is he
Fine with me. I don't want him playing hurt. That is 100000% the problem when it comes to Manson. When he's healthy, he plays good defense, wins puck battles, and makes life miserable for the opposition, not to mention the occasional thunderous hit. When he's playing hurt, that's when he starts trying to do way too much with the puck, makes bad decisions, and can't win board battles down low.

Here's a fun graph.
What it represents is how a player has positively or negatively contributed to the team's success or failure cumulatively through the season.
This means that missed games are taken into account as neutral 0's, and games played for other teams are not counted.
Only forwards are included because there aren't enough stats collected for D's and G's for a generalization like this.

Innala... man that guy sucked.

5'9", 15 games without a single point, couldn't hit anybody, couldn't do anything.

Nathan MacKinnon is a freak of nature.

Not liking Necas' game lately. He is trying to do wayyyyyyy too much by himself. He needs to simplify his game and use his teammates a lot more instead of trying to go end-to-end all the time. The way he plays right now reminds me of Kadri in 20-21 when he was trying to do everything himself. In 21-22 he started using his teammates a lot more and he had his best year.........oh and we won the Cup that year. Just saying!!!!!!!

Another reason why he needs to go back with Nelson and Lehky, they seemed to all know their role.

Only a few days ago vs Los Angeles Necas had arguably his best game as an Av. He was flying and had multiple points. He was unreal.

Kucherov is gonna run away with the Art Ross. He’s scoring at least 4 points every game lately and Tampa is playing shitty teams. Time to scratch Nate and give him some rest before the playoffs
