What does this have to do with anything ? Point is he’s putting up all time level performances, and anyone blaming him for the oilers not winning yet simply has an agenda

In the end, its all about the production compared to cap hit. And one important point: production is also other things than points.
His overall game has improved i guess lately so it helps. This year is still hard fue to goalie issues, but should be the year when they should do it, when his and Leos caphit are reasoanble. Next year still due to caphit raise, but after that i can believe he will be again overpaid and so space for proper team building.
