I would say they're bad at geography.

If I were the IIHF, I'd skip making draft previews until Russian players are no longer taboo. That way, you don't have to mention a banned country but you also aren't dishonest.

Ignoring isn't missing. It is weird out of a North American perspective to not at least list them. But for us euros it is a huge step up from René Fasel.
