If we was willing to sign a 1 or 2 year deal he likely would have already re-upped with SJ. He's going to see if anyone on the market is willing to give him the term he wants.

Blake and his staff will inquire. Whether or not they're willing to give a 3 year deal to a 38 year old is another story. This type of deal would put us up against the cap. Forbort is an RFA next year and the Kings may want to try and lock up so they'll need some cap space.

2-10 seems reasonable. Doesn't get 3 years but gets to stay on the West Coast and has a legit shot at winning the Cup-finally.
