If Cap Wasn’t an issue and you could bring one player onto the leafs via free agency who would your ideal player be.

Make a poll if needed

Please remember this is a world where cap does not exist, I’m just trying to figure out where our fan bases priority Via free agency and who you belive is the best fit at the moment on our roster ONLY THROGUH FREE AGNCEY 2022

Josh Manson.

I think he was really underrated in the Avs run to the finals and would finally complete our top D pairing.

Rielly - Manson
Giordano - Liljegren
Muzzin - Brodie
Sandin

I’m sure he’ll re-sign him Boston, but in fantasy land I’d sign Patrice Bergeron, and move Tavares to the wing.

Tavares - Matthews - Marner
Bunting - Bergeron - Nylander

Decent top 6 :)

(Quickly combs through the UFA goalies available ... hmm, Kuemper ...)

I'll go with Klingberg.

What a world that would be.

I honestly really like when Tavares gets thrown into that top line. He’s well suited to a wing position as he’s getting older.

Agreed, and Tavares/Matthews/Marner specifically are insanely dominant when they’re thrown together, but normally it leaves the 2nd line too weak. Obviously Bergeron would fix that!

In this hypothetical, I’d bring either Naz or Gaudreau

Either way you have your 2nd line left winger in Gaudreau or Tavares

Dylan Strome as Leafs 3rd line center would be my wish list.

The only part I’m intrigued about would be Kerfoot leaving for some picks/prospects instead of leaving for nothing next year. Strome could do Kerfoots job I feel pretty decently
