If they held a 2021 re-draft right now, where does Knies get picked?

Groundbreaking analysis.

How about the team leading 5 hits, prime scoring chance on a power move, his relentlessness along the boards and puck retrieval. He was making excellent defensive plays all night and his line was a lot for Tampa to handle.
Only his 4th game in the NHL, and 1st playoff game. He already looks like he belongs and it's not out of the question that after another 2 games, 5 games or whatever as his confidence grows he takes it up another notch or two. Might not happen but like I said, it's not out of the question and it sure is fun to ponder the possibilities. :)

Seems that once he gets his first he might go on a bit of a run.

Knies is a good skater who seems to have a knack for anticipating the puck. Occasionally guys like that go on a run and just never stop. An example is Brad Marchand, who wasn't touted as a prospect when he came up, but had that magical run in 2011 and just never stopped scoring. Obviously there are other attributes to Marchand that are less desirable. If Knies can be a cleaner version of the same guy he's going to be a rockstar in Toronto.

Right now, great support skater. The potential for the future is there to be seen.
