If there was one movie you think everyone should see what would it be?

Great selection. It wrecks me for some reason, the universality I suppose.

It hasn’t been mentioned yet so I’n happy to be the Network (1976) guy
Network, from what I recall probably 20 years ago, is that it is thought-provoking concerning how narratives and truth are filtered in the era of mass-communication. There were some good monologues in there.

I'm thinking Tree of Life (director, Terrence Malik). It's a very visual and emotional picture. Quite beautiful images. Also, rather expansive in its narrative. The sort of film that makes one appreciate not only life, but also existence, big and small, perhaps a bit more.
And if I can use my vote to delete another suggestion, it would be this one. This movie was very up its own ass. One of the few I've ever walked out on. I found it unintentionally hilarious.

Surprised you had such a strong reaction against it. Too literal? Contrived?

Since you said that you'll watch anything that we suggest, regardless of runtime, I choose Logistics. It's a 2012 Swedish film that's credited as the longest movie ever made. It's 857 hours long, so it'll take 35 days to finish... if you don't sleep or go to the bathroom. Have fun!
What did he do to you to deserve this?
I looked at part one on youtube and... seriously, I don't see the point. It's like if the christmas fire app was a movie. lol
