Buffalo
1. Buffalo - for obvious reasons
2. Edmonton - I think McDavid could help get that franchise back on track
3. Toronto - it would make an awesome rivalry with Buffalo (McDavid vs Eichel) and it would very cool to see McDavid get to play for his hometown team

To all of those saying Toronto. McDavid can not make the Air Canada Centre any more packed on game nights. He should go to a franchise like Arizona or Carolina. I would rather see him in Toronto over Edmonton though.

Anybody but Buffalo, sack of **** game throwers. They had a top 2 pick last year that they purposefully sent down just to lose more games and not have him being a difference maker.

For me, Carolina and Arizona are deserving organizations, they haven't had top picks in quite some time and that could really help them out. Hell, I'd even prefer Oilers to win McDavid over the Sabres.

Toronto is in the bottom 5 right now by P%. Columbus has four games in hand and only a point behind. Columbus wins ~47% of their games, Leafs ~44.

You had other examples to say, and you used the bolded one? Way to show your intelligence on the situation :shakehead

Of course I say Buffalo, but if not them, I would say Edmonton for their loyal fans.

I don't own any part of those two franchises so why should I care that seats get filled?

If Toronto doesn't win it then I want Buffalo then Columbus to win it.

Not Edmonton. They've gotten too much and made too little of it.

Buffalo is kinda meh with me. On one hand, I kind of don't want to see such blatant tanking rewarded. On the other hand, I love that Buffalo gets so hyped about their sport teams, and I'd like them to have success.

No strong feelings otherwise.

I'd like to see the 'Canes or Columbus win.

Obviously there is a bit of personal motivation for those choices as Arizona and Edmonton are WC teams that I don't want getting any better.

I would be ok with Buffalo getting it, but I mean it cheeses me a bit that they've had two #1 picks in their history and last year a #2, and the last time Vancouver drafted in the top 5 was the Sedins. It's just kind of sour grapes more than anything else, but I guess they need the help. I just wish our expansion cousins could share the high pick wealth.

Edmonton winning would just make me wanna put McDavid out of his misery since he would in all likelihood have his development, confidence and quite possibly future destroyed.

The Canucks have had 13 top 5 picks and four second overalls to the Sabres' 8 top 5 picks with two firsts and a second. Doesn't seem to bad for Vancouver to me lol (I think I counted right so sorry if it's off by a pick or so)

That being said, if it's not the Sabres (since they're my homer pick), I'd like it to go to Jersey.

It would be funny if LA misses the playoffs and wins the lottery. All those people that cry about the draft awarding losing teams would be very happy to see that happen...right?
