Läck is from Norrtälje and Grossmann from Gnesta, so if they can be in there then Hagelin and other SSKers wouldn't be a problem! Anyone with a good Skellefteå or Gothenburg team? Would be fun to see!

Bäckström is a Helsinki native and HIFK grown.

And technically, some of those players are not born within the city, but I still figure that players from the region close by should also count. My Team Turku had players born in Piikkiö and Kaarina as well, and I think folks from Ii and Kalajoki and Haukipudas and such can play for Team Oulu.

born in halmstad, but moved to malmö as a little kid, i think.
If Nyquist doesn't count as a Scanian/Skåning, then I don't know if Pääjärvi should count. Both are born somewhere else, but grew up in Malmö.

Personally I count both as Scanians. Both started playing hockey for Malmö clubs.

I think you mean province.
