Speculation: If Salary Cap Increases, does compensation values on offer sheets increase at the same rate?

With the salary cap to increase, I was wondering if the thresholds will increase. For instance , signing a player at 4.5 mil, I think is a 2nd round pick compensation.. That same player with increased salary cap should become a possibly 5.5 mil player, would compensation limits go up as well?

There us a lag factor because it's tied to past salaries, not so much future cap spsce

The new comp numbers will come in soon enough. But, yeah, they will rise with the cap, timing might be a tad off, but they will go up.

They will go up, but not at the same rate as the Cap. It's based the increase in average league salary increase (not AAV)... so some years it will go up more than the cap, others less.

Good read, looks like new values probably in June sometime before free agency. I know it won't happen but would love to see Knies in a Jets uniform. After every playoff leaf game so far, I think his future salary jumps a mil.

We should have them by the end of May I'd think. Last year they came out May 31, 2023 we had them April 27, in 2022 it was May 17th
