Yep like every GM in the league that there team are owned by an owner. Team that have a president are team that are owned by a group: NYR = Madison Square Garden Sport, TOR = Madison Leafs Sport and entertainment, BOS = Delaware North, LA = Anschutz Entertainment Group, Ect. If the GM was doing a good job, no one would talk about Molson. And for the interview, he can hired a team management specialist to help him make his decision.I'm not overrating it. I'm calling it a problem. He can change his title to CEO and focus on the business side of things. A president should be involved in both hockey and business decisions. Right now, Bergevin is basically the President of Hockey operations and GM.
Let me ask you this... if we fire Bergevin, who's doing the interviews for the new GM? Molson? That's scary
