Next season will be good enought for him to start his NHL career. i would only bring him up if they think they can win the series with him in the lineup.

Carrier is not a blackhole offensively come on. Not great offensively but can surely contribute.

Means he's out at least 7 days.

Goalies, like Dr. Recchi should not be handing out medical diagnostics.

But it does look like he could have a concussion or other issues.

That been said, Logan Thompson looked drugged coming off the ice after last game, but he came back and played reasonably.

If Carrier can’t make it, I wouldn’t play it safe. I would give Mailloux or Reinbacher the opportunity to play an NHL playoff game to get experience. Both are big bodied, mean enough, and have offensive potential. Mailloux is a bit riskier for making errors or over committing, but seems to be in better game shape, so it is hard to say.

It would be great if we had a magical prospect who could be beamed into the playoffs and instantly dominate, but remember even our best prospect, Demidov, looked somewhat lost at first. No way is Reinbacher making his debut in this superheated context.
