Reinbacher is a stud and the obvious choice if he will be healthy and not shelter in use. To put him in Washington when he don't play every game in Laval to be safe with his health/knee it's a BIG GAMBLE to send him to Washington in this jungle. Do we really want to take that risk? I prefer to bet long term and for me it's not an option. To win a game or a serie, when we are not ready to win, I would not gamble his health. WE NEED THIS GUYS AT 100% SOONER THAN LATER!
Mailloux has the size and some very good tools but he play the game like a kid in a Toy'S R Us, running everywhere but not where he need to be. Mailloux in the same team of Reinbacher look like a mess when you compare both of them. But at the moment, he is probably the better card we have because of his size and the time he can play.
I don't understand Lindstrom have no love. He will never be a Norris and a long term solution but we have a right D in the farm who find a way to put a +12 in 32 games with Anaheim last year and his currently +18 in 42 games with Laval. But the D squad look so shaky it will not really help us because of the ice-time he can take. If we loose Carrier, we need someone who can take a lot of ice-time.
It will be a horror show in Washington with the squad we have
Matheson is a freakin mess - cost a goal each game
Xhekaj and Struble are shaky lately
For me, Mailloux will be the choice and I hate this guy since forever. I would have trade Matheson, Mailloux and Newhook last year because they were at their highest value in the trade market but it's another story.
